"I am a proud “Westie” having spent my younger days in the Henderson area. Rosalie and I were married 43 years ago in Ashhurst, Manawatu and have 3 adult children and 6 grandchildren, and a “grand dog”.
My education was at Henderson High School and the old ATI (this ages me!) My working life, almost 40 years, was spent with Fletcher Building and during this time my family and I were privileged to have lived in many of New Zealand's great towns and cities. I finished my Corporate career in a senior General Management role in the South Island. Over the last 10 years Rosalie and I have managed our own business's and have been involved in numerous church, mission, charity and trust oversights.
My connection with MAF goes back to the 1950's as my father was a good mate of Murray Kendon's and my first flight, as an 11 year old, was in a MAF Cessna at Ardmore airport.
Our family has had many MAF connections, resulting in my brother Grant (and Sharon) serving as 'veteran MAF missionaries and our involvement in MAF NZ board activities."
