A SMALL ACT OF KINDNESS
Six year-old David decided he wanted to raise some money for MAF. He used a refreshments stand he had built with some spare wood lying around and sold lemonade made with lemons from their tree. He added some pocket money to total $57 and sent it to MAF. Meanwhile, 15,000kms away, two brothers desperately needed a MAF flight. Find out how their lives connected.
SUPPORT OUR STAFF
Today hundreds of individuals and families from around the world are putting their skills and dedication to work in the service of others on the front lines of mission in remote areas. All MAF NZ staff rely on the sponsorship of friends, family, church and others to keep doing what God has called them to do.
KENDON-STRONG MAF CENTRE
Recently the dream of developing a new centre for training and equipping people for missions has started to become a reality. Based at Tauranga airport, the Kendon-Strong MAF Centre will be a hub for all of our work and ministry in the years to come. You can be an essential part of helping MAF New Zealand take a “bold step forward”!
The Flying Fund enables MAF NZ to continue our extensive process of recruiting new pilots, engineers and managers and then train and prepare them for the vital work overseas. It is also used to support our staff currently overseas and the life-saving projects we fund in isolated communities.
LEAVE A LEGACY
A bequest is simply a gift left in a will. Many people don’t realise that you don’t have to be rich or famous to make a bequest. The truth is that most bequests are made by ordinary, hardworking people who want to make a positive difference to their community or to a cause after they're gone.
