Finance Volunteer
Andrew was born and raised in India as a “MK”. Returning from the mission field he studied in Christchurch and completed an Accounting / Business Administration degree. After several years in small business management Andrew received a clear call to mission as General Manager at Christian Books Melanesia. Andrew and Lynda served with CBM in Wewak, PNG from 1998 to 2007. During this time the family travelled with MAF and made many friends with the MAF team in PNG.
Andrew joined MAF NZ in January 2010 in a part time role as Finance Manager. This position involved all aspects of the MAF NZ accounting process—management and statutory reporting, overseas remittances, creditors, payroll, budgeting, investments and projects.
Andrew and Lynda and family live in rural Hamilton and have one cow, sheep and several rowdy hens. Andrew serves as an elder at Hukanui Bible Church and continues to visit PNG regularly.
Although Andrew has stepped down from his official Finance Manager role with MAF, he continues to provide accounting support to MAF NZ in a voluntary capacity.
