In the early 1990s Bill and Angela changed their priorities and gave up law careers to go to Bible College.
In 1994 they left New Zealand to work with MAF in Tanzania, East Africa. With MAF they moved to Kenya in 1996, England in 1999 and to Australia in 2003, where they are currently based. Bill serves as interim CEO of MAF International and International Development Director and Chief Legal Officer. Angela served as Communications and Legal Officer until September 2016, when she left MAF to take on a new role with the Cairns Street Chaplains. They have four sons—Campbell, Henry, Reid and William. After completing a law degree at Otago University and serving in the New Zealand army, Campbell is now at Teacher's College in Christchurch. Henry is studying medicine at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Reid is in Scotland at a Christian Outdoor Education Centre and William is doing an internship at Annesbrook Church in Nelson.
About 25 years ago our lives were transformed. We continue to be transformed, as we grow in our relationship with the Lord. We want others’ lives to be transformed too and we love the unique way that MAF is involved in transformational mission—sharing God's love through aviation and technology.
