MAFI Maintenance Support Specialist–Turbine Aircraft, NZ based

Colin and Rosemary originally joined MAF in 1988. After spending a short time at MAF Aviation Services in Ballarat they joined the MAF team in Papua New Guinea in 1989 where Colin served as an engineer. During their time in Papua New Guinea, Colin filled a variety of positions including Maintenance Controller and Quality Manager.

In 2011 they returned to New Zealand and settled in Tauranga to be close to family. Since returning to New Zealand, Rosemary has been working in our home church office while Colin continued to provide Engineering and Maintenance Control support to the MAF Papua New Guinea programme.

In 2016 Colin joined the MAF International Aviation Department as a Maintenance Support Specialist. In this role he will support the Maintenance Support Manager in the development of maintenance standards and providing technical support for the MAFI Turbine Aircraft fleet.

Colin & Rosemary have three adult children. Theresa is married to Chris and lives in Christchurch; Nathan is a Civil Engineer living in Auckland and Deborah is currently doing post graduate studies in Human Nutrition at Otago University in Dunedin.
